University of Gdańsk invites foreign students to join summer schools on quantum information technology – an innovative and rapidly developing global field of study.

This is the unique possibility to learn about the future-focused field of science and technology from research-active scientists who are leading experts in their fields.

The International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT) at the University of Gdańsk is currently one of the leading centers in the theory of quantum technologies research worldwide.

PROGRAMME

2-week programme including: lectures and workshops/classes, meetings with the most talented quantum scientists worldwide and activities promoting Polish culture

DATE

4 summer schools in the years 2022 and 2023 (remote and hybrid)

WHO CAN APPLY

Foreign students from all over the world who have completed at least 1 year of studies in Bachelor’s programme in one of the following fields of science: physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry and technical science. Russian students are excluded from participating in programme due to Russian invasion of Ukraine. 

FEES

Free of tuition and recruitment fees for all countries candidates. Participants taking part in onsite school will get the reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses according to the Regulations.

Participants WILL NOT be awarded any ECTS credits. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

FEES

Free of tuition and recruitment fees for all countries candidates. Participants taking part in onsite school will receive a scholarship of PLN 5,000.00.
